FCT Polls: APC chairmanship candidate declared winner of Abaji Area Council

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has announced that Umar Abdullahi Abubakar of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has won the predetermination for the chairmanship of the Abaji Area Council.

DAILY POST reports that Abubakar, who polled 15,536 votes, defeated the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, candidate, who scored 4,547 votes, portion the African Democratic Congress, ADC, campaigner came 3rd with 37 votes.

The APC besides recorded triumph successful Kwali Area Council, wherever its candidate, Daniel Nuhu, secured 17,032 votes to decision the PDP’s Haruna Pai, who polled 8,575 votes.

In the aforesaid vein, successful the Abuja Municipal Area Council, AMAC, the APC candidate, Christopher Maikalangu, emerged victor aft polling 40,295 votes.
