FG to repatriate more than 1,000 Nigerians from S/Africa – NiDCOM

The Federal Government is acceptable to repatriate much than 1,000 Nigerians from South Africa pursuing a screening workout conducted for citizens seeking voluntary return.

The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerians successful Diaspora Commission, NiDCOM, Mrs. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, disclosed this successful Abuja on Saturday.

According to her, the screening workout is being jointly conducted by the Nigerian High Commission successful Pretoria and South Africa’s Department of Home Affairs.

Dabiri-Erewa said the workout entered its 3rd time on Saturday, with a ample turnout of Nigerians seeking to enactment successful the voluntary evacuation programme.

She noted that the process has been orderly and professionally managed nether the supervision of Nigeria’s Acting High Commissioner to South Africa, Ambassador Olatunde Ajayi.
