Group disrupts empowerment programme in Kwara

Unidentified youths and women connected Saturday disrupted an empowerment programme organized by a woman, simply identified arsenic Chief Adejoke Mistura Adeyemi, successful Oke-Onigbin town, Kwara State, wrong the Kwara South Senatorial District.

According to reports reaching DAILY POST, the philanthropist organized the programme for prime residents of 4 section authorities areas: Isin, Oke-Ero, Ekiti, and Irepodun.

Items shared included 10 cars, 1 Bajaj motorcycle, 10 thorax freezers, 20 grinding machines, 10 hairstyle dryers, 4 constitution tools, 10 generator sets, and 30 sewing machines.

Though the items were successfully distributed to the fortunate beneficiaries, disorder broke retired midway into the programme erstwhile immoderate unidentified youths and women from the assemblage invaded the arena and carted distant ample quantities of 5-kilogram bags of atom reserved for different beneficiaries.

Security sources disclosed that “they overpowered the information team, comprising soldiers, police, Civil Defence Corps, Road Safety officials, and section hunters astatine the venue of the event.”
