ICPC arraigns agent over attempt to obtain UK visa with false documents

The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission, ICPC, has arraigned a visa agent, Mr. Adediwura Adesina Stanley, earlier the Lagos State High Court implicit allegations bordering connected conspiracy, forgery, and the usage of mendacious documents successful an effort to get a United Kingdom visa.

Stanley was arraigned connected March 11, 2026, earlier Hon. Justice I. Ijelu successful a lawsuit marked Charge No: ID/27584C/2026.

According to the charges filed by the Commission, the suspect allegedly conspired with 2 different individuals, Mr. Olufemi Samuel Adewunmi and Mr. Oluwayemi Oyinkan, to forge fiscal documents intended to deceive the United Kingdom Visas and Immigration, UKVI, part of the UK Home Office.

The prosecution informed the tribunal that the forged documents included a firm payslip and a slope statement, which were allegedly prepared and submitted to facilitate the assistance of a visa.

Stanley is facing charges nether Sections 516 and 467 of the Criminal Code Act (Cap C38, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria 2004) for conspiracy to forge and forgery.
