Kaduna Chairman Suspended by ADP for Possible Anti-Party Activities
Umar Isa, the party’s interim chairman in Kaduna State, has been suspended by the Action Democratic Party (ADP) for allegedly engaging in anti-party actions.
Isa has been suspended with immediate effect, according to a letter that is jointly signed by the National Chairman of the Party, Yabaji Sani, and the National Secretary, Victor Fingesi.
The National Working Committee has received complaints from both officials and members of our great party in Kaduna State pointing to the fact that you have engaged in multiple actions that disadvantage and discredit the ADP, according to the letter dated Wednesday, March 8, 2023.
We view what you have done as anti-party, which constitutes a serious violation of the Party’s Constitution in accordance with Article 52.2, during this crucial period of electioneering when political parties are working hard to collect support and win seats in the general elections.
“With this letter, you are relieved of your duties as acting state chairman of Kaduna State till further notice.
Also, you are now instructed to promptly deliver to the ADP state deputy chairman any party materials and paraphernalia in your control.
