Kaduna strengthens partnership with UNODC on drug abuse, mental health, insecurity

Kaduna State Government says it has strengthened its concern with the United Nations Office connected Drugs and Crime (UNODC) to tackle cause abuse, intelligence wellness challenges and insecurity crossed the authorities and the wider North-West region.

This was disclosed by Governor Uba Sani connected X aft a courtesy sojourn by the UNODC Country Representative successful Nigeria, Mr Cheikh Touré.

According to him: “I was honoured to person the Country Representative of the United Nations Office connected Drugs and Crime (UNODC) successful Nigeria, Mr Cheikh Touré, connected a courtesy sojourn of communal goodwill and constructive engagement.”

He said some sides discussed ways to amended associated responses to substance abuse, intelligence wellness issues and insecurity, particularly successful affected parts of Northern Nigeria.

“Our discussions were anchored connected the imperative of strengthening collaborative responses to the intersecting challenges of substance abuse, intelligence wellness conditions, and insecurity, with peculiar attraction to the North-West portion and different affected parts of the country”.
