Kano Assembly withdraws impeachment notice following dep gov’s resignation

The Kano State House of Assembly has officially withdrawn its announcement of impeachment against erstwhile Deputy Governor Aminu Abdulsalam, pursuing his voluntary resignation from office.

The withdrawal followed a question by the Majority Leader, Lawan Hussaini Chediyar Yangurasa, during a plenary league presided implicit by Speaker Jibril Isma’il, who insisted that continuing with the substance aft his resignation would beryllium pointless.
