Kebbi court strikes out contempt case against ADC factional chairman

A Magistrate Court sitting successful Birnin Kebbi has struck retired a contempt complaint filed against a factional president of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, Safiyanu Bala.

The suspect was brought to tribunal from the infirmary for the continuation of the hearing.

At the resumed sitting, the authorities prosecutor, Magistrate Abdullahi-Koko, informed the tribunal that helium discovered the aforesaid substance was already pending earlier the High Court successful Birnin Kebbi.

He truthful urged the tribunal to onslaught retired the lawsuit to let the parties to prosecute the substance astatine the due court.

Counsel to the defence, Mudasir Sani, agreed with the prosecution, confirming that the substance was already earlier the High Court.

In his ruling, Magistrate Abubakar Abdullahi-Koko held that the lawsuit was struck retired based connected the submissions of some parties.

“The lawsuit is hereby struck out,” the magistrate ruled.
