Killings: Church observes CAN’s ‘Black Sunday’ in Umuahia

The Apostolic Church Nigeria, Umuahia Area Headquarters successful Abia State, has held a “Black Sunday” work to reason a three-day nationalist mourning and supplication programme declared by the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN.

Delivering his sermon during the “Black Sunday” service, the Deputy Territorial Chairman of The Apostolic Church Nigeria (TACN), Igboland Territory, Apostle Joseph Okoroafor, said that the complaint of insecurity and hardship required corporate prayers by Christians.

He urged Christians to commune for Nigerian leaders and subject unit who are connected the frontlines of the conflict against insurgents.

“We request to commune for our leaders and the led. We request to commune for Nigeria against bandits and insurgents. So, we request to commune for Nigeria,” helium said.
