The Lagos State Government has denied reports claiming that ₦4.2 cardinal was budgeted successful the 2026 fund for the acquisition of tables, chairs and microphones for the Office of the Deputy Governor.
The authorities said the assertion was incorrect and came from a misunderstanding of the fund figures.

According to the government, the full superior allocation for the Office of the Deputy Governor, Lagos State successful 2026 is ₦4,247,816,006.
However, it explained that this magnitude is not meant for furnishings alone.
