A mammoth assemblage connected Monday witnessed the defection of the erstwhile Kano State Governor, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, to the African Democratic Congress, ADC.
DAILY POST earlier reported that Kwankwaso, the 2023 statesmanlike campaigner of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP, officially picked his ADC rank paper successful Kano connected Monday.
The lawsuit was witnessed by salient leaders of the ADC, including National Chairman David Mark, erstwhile Speaker of the House of Representatives, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, ex-National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, and erstwhile Anambra and Rivers governors, Peter Obi and Rotimi Amaechi.
The defection comes a time aft Kwankwaso announced his resignation from the NNPP.
He cited the request for a strategical governmental realignment amid the evolving dynamics of Nigeria’s governmental landscape.
