Man sues ex-wife over refusal to leave after divorce

A businessman, Abibu Yakubu, has filed a petition against his ex-wife astatine the Upper Area Court 1, Karu, implicit alleged refusal to permission his location aft divorce.

Yakubu is besides seeking custody of his 4 children.

He filed the lawsuit against his estranged wife, Shuwadatu Mohammed, connected Oct. 13, 2025.

According to the particulars of claim, Yakubu, who resides astatine Orange Market, Mararaba, Karu LGA, said the responsive is his ex-wife and besides resides astatine the aforesaid address.

He averred that the responsive does not respect him and his parents and often insults them.

He said the matrimony is blessed with 4 children aged 22, 19, and his 6-year-old twins.

He prayed the tribunal to clasp the responsive liable if thing happens to him.
