Michael Madsen, an actor, was taken into custody for domestic abuse.

After being detained by the police for allegedly pushing his wife, Michael Madsen spent a portion of the weekend behind bars.

The ‘Kill Bill’ actor was taken into custody on a misdemeanor domestic abuse complaint just after midnight on Saturday, August 17.

After a fight, police say Madsen shoved his wife and then locked her out of their house in the Los Angeles area.

Madsen’s wife was secure with a security team when deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office got to his house.

Madsen and his wife reportedly had a conversation with the deputies before he was taken into custody and taken to a jail.

The wife of Madsen declined medical care.

Madsen was freed from detention after posting a $20,000 bond.
