National Convention: David Mark ADC expels Nafiu Bala Gombe, Abejide, others

The David Mark-led African Democratic Congress, ADC, has expelled the party’s erstwhile Deputy National Chairman, Nafiu Bala Gombe, and a subordinate of the House of Representatives, Leke Abejide.

The determination was announced astatine the party’s National Congress, successful Abuja connected Tuesday.

Others expelled by the Mark-led ADC see Kenneth Ehiator, Stella Chukwu and Elias Adiukwu.

Nafiu Bala Gombe is insisting that helium is the authentic National Chairman of the party, contempt claims that helium earlier resigned from the presumption of Deputy National Chairman.

Alongside Abejide, helium led a protestation to the office of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, connected Thursday, wherever helium demanded that erstwhile Vice President Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso and David Mark enactment distant from the ADC.

Bala accused the governmental figures of attempting to hijack the party.

A suit filed by Bala led to INEC’s determination to de-recognize the David Mark ADC leadership.
