Nigeria Immigration intercepts 107 irregular migrants in Adamawa

The Adamawa State Command of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) has intercepted 107 migrants residing illegally successful the state.

Parading the suspected irregular migrants, the State Comptroller of Immigration, Sani Jega, said the interception followed coordinated surveillance and quality operations carried retired crossed identified locations.

Of the 107 undocumented individuals apprehended, 77 are Cameroonians, 21 are Nigeriens, six are Burkinabe nationals, and 3 are Chadians.

Further probe and profiling revealed that the Cameroonian and Chadian nationals are suspected of engagement successful occupation scam operations.
