Former National Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Senator Samuel Anyanwu, has debunked reports claiming that the Appeal Court upheld his suspension.
Online reports had purported that the tribunal upheld the suspension of Anyanwu, the National Organising Secretary, Umaru Bature; the party’s National Legal Adviser, Kamaldeen Ajibade; and the Deputy National Legal Adviser, Okechukwu Osuoha.
However, addressing journalists aft the Appeal Court ruled connected the Ibadan convention, Anyanwu debunked the report, saying, “There was thing similar suspension. It was not earlier the court.”
Anyanwu besides stated that the enactment is acceptable for its nationalist convention, noting that it volition beryllium held betwixt March 29 and 30.
Meanwhile, the Tanimu Turaki-led faction is heading to the Supreme Court to situation the Appeal Court ruling.
