Police arraign two women over alleged murder of Nasarawa Varsity student

The Nigeria Police person filed transgression charges against 2 women, Grace Okosun and Zainab Abdulmumin, implicit the alleged execution of a 19-year-old pupil of Nasarawa State University, Zubeidat Isa.

According to the complaint marked CR/335/2025 and dated May 27, 2025, the constabulary accused the defendants of culpable homicide successful transportation with the decease of the student. The complaint was filed by Wisdom Madaki of the Legal Prosecution Section of the Nigeria Police.

The constabulary alleged that the offence was committed connected February 13, 2025, wrong the jurisdiction of the court. In the complaint sheet, the prosecution stated that the defendants conspired to perpetrate culpable homicide, an offence punishable nether Sections 96 and 97 of the Penal Code.

The complaint further alleged that Grace Okosun, 32, of No. 246 Jahi down Platinum Mall, Gwarimpa, and Zainab Abdulmumin, 28, of Mab Global Estate, Gwarimpa Extension, killed the unfortunate astatine House 3, Annex Hotel, aft suspecting her of having a narration with Okosun’s boyfriend, identified arsenic Kelvin Donaldson, contrary to Sections 220 and 221 of the Penal Code.
