The Ogun State Police Command has arrested 1 Mr. Johnson Elleh for producing and circulating a misleading video falsely alleging kidnapping and banditry activities on the Owode-Idiroko axis of Ogun State.
The Command’s spokesperson, DSP Oluseyi Babaseyi, made this known on Wednesday.
Babaseyi noted that upon citing the viral video, the bid instantly subjected the contents to scrutiny and commenced a swift probe to verify the claims contained.
According to him, findings revealed that the video was false, misleading and deliberately designed to make fear, panic, and anxiousness among members of the public.
