Police arrest suspected murderer, recover stolen motorcycle in Osun

The Osun State Police Command has arrested Adebayo Isiaka Akanbi, a suspected murderer and equipped robber.

A stolen motorcycle was recovered from the suspect.

A connection released by the Command’s spokesman, DSP Abiodun Ojelabi, connected Friday said the fishy was apprehended by detectives from the State Criminal Investigation Department, SCID.

The connection disclosed that the apprehension was linked to the execution of a commercialized motorcyclist, Tiramiyu Afeez, whose assemblage was discovered earlier successful February on the Ojo-Ara-Ejigbo road.

According to the statement, “The lawsuit was initially reported astatine ‘A’ Division, Ede, connected February 23, 2026, aft the deceased near location connected February 21 for his regular commercialized motorcycle operations but failed to return.
