Police release Osun NUJ Secretary, Akindoju

The Secretary of the Osun State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Olalekan Akindoju, has been released by the Osun State Police Command.

DAILY POST had earlier reported that Akindoju was arrested astatine this location aboriginal on Thursday morning, by operatives from the State Criminal Investigation Department, SCID, Osun State Police Command.

The Osun NUJ Chairman, Adeyemi Aboderin, earlier confirmed the apprehension connected the Osun NUJ authoritative WhatsApp platform.

He said, “IMPORTANT NOTICE: “Policemen reportedly arrested Hon.Secretary of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Osun State Council, Comrade Olalekan Akindoju astatine his residence on Thursday morning.
