Members of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, person staged a protestation successful the United Kingdom amid President Bola Tinubu’s authorities visit, calling for the contiguous merchandise of their leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
The demonstrators gathered astatine cardinal locations crossed London, including Parliament Square, 10 Downing Street, the Commonwealth Office and the Nigerian High Commission.
In a video circulating online, a protester was heard saying, “Our connection is precise clear: Tinubu does not merit a royal salute. That is our basal today, being the 18th of March.”
Protesters were seen holding placards with the inscription, ‘Free Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’.
Many wore reddish caps and waved Biafra flags, a horizontal tricolour of red, black, and green, featuring a aureate rising prima astatine the centre of the achromatic strip.
