Rivers by-election: Bulabari wins Khana 2 state house of assembly constituency

Henrietta Bulabari, campaigner of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has emerged victor of the Khana 2 State House of Assembly Constituency bye-election successful Rivers State aft securing 7,647 votes.

The Returning Officer, Prof. Angela Briggs, declared Bulabari the winner, stating, “having satisfied the requirements of the law.”

According to the officially announced results, the votes scored by the parties were:

AA – 46

APC – 7,647

NNPP – 37

YPP – 23

ZLP – 47

The News Agency of Nigeria, NAN, reports that retired of 71,914 registered voters, lone 7,834 accredited voters participated successful the election.

A full of 7,800 votes were declared valid, portion 34 ballots were rejected.

Party agents were contiguous during the collation and announcement of the results.
