Senate seats and nine House positions in Rivers are all won by the PDP.

In the National Assembly elections held in Rivers State on February 25, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) secured victories in all three of the senatorial seats.

For the 13 House of Representative seats in the state, the ruling party also prevailed in nine of the eleven results that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has so far announced.

This information was included in a release emailed to news outlets on Friday night by Geraldine Ekelemu, the commission’s public relations officer. The release was released by the INEC in Rivers State.

Results for the final two seats in Port Harcourt Federal Constituency 2 were reportedly suspended due to alleged irregularities, according to INEC’s statement.

According to the announced results, Dr. (Mrs.) Banigo Ipalibo-Harry, a PDP candidate and state deputy governor, won the Rivers West senatorial district with 67668 votes.

Onyesoh Alwell, a PDP candidate, won the Rivers East Senatorial District with 13,4283 votes, while Mpigi Barinada received 53,734 votes to win the Rivers South-East District.

For the House of Representatives, Anderson Igbiks of the All Progressives Congress won the Okrika/Ogu-Bolo Federal Constituency with 9,902 votes.

With 22459 votes, Umuzurieke Manuchim of the Labour Party won the Port Harcourt Federal Constituency 1 election.

Kingsley Chinda (Obio/Akpor federal constituency), Hart Godwin (Degema/Bonny), and Abiente Dagomie (Andony/Opobo/Nkoro) are among the nine posts gained by the PDP.

Others include Nwaeke and Bob Solomon (Abua/Odual-Ahoada East). Goodhead Boma (Akuku-Tori/Asari-Toru), Uche (Eleme/Tai/Oyigbo).

Moreover, Obuzor Amadi, Emerengwa Sunday, and Nwogu Godspower all won in the Ahoada-West, Ogna, Egbema, and Ndoni divisions (Etche-Omuma).
