Seyi Law expresses regret to people he has upset by his backing of Tinubu and the APC.
Comedian Seyi Law has sent a letter of apology to anyone who was hurt by his endorsement of Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress, who was named the victor of the 2023 presidential election today, March 1.
The comedian, who previously said that animosity and hostility among one another shouldn’t exist among Nigerians, continued by expressing his mixed emotions over other political candidates’ followers’ sincere outrage over Tinubu’s victory.
Seyi Law wrote;
Greetings, Nigerians! I’m glad you feel thus strongly about your chosen choices. Politics should operate in that manner. But there shouldn’t be any room between us for animosity and hate.
I may not perceive things the same way as you do. That doesn’t mean I’m right and you’re wrong. It simply indicates that we are unique. I would have hoped for his prosperity and mine if your candidates had won.
I apologize to anyone I may have hurt by my support, and I vehemently condemn all acts of violence nationwide. Not because my candidate won, but because of your sincere rage. I do, however, pray that Nigeria and Nigerians’ lives improve.
I want to express my sincere gratitude to you.
