Taraba High Court nullifies appointment of Kwararafa third class chief

The Taraba State High Court sitting successful Jalingo connected Wednesday nullified the assignment of the Third Class main of Kwararafa Chiefdom successful Gassol Local Government Area of the state.

Delivering judgement successful Suit No. TRSJ/85/2018, Justice Dauda Buba declared the appointment, installation and coronation of Chief Methuselah Adamu unconstitutional, null and void.

The tribunal held that Adamu’s installation and coronation, carried retired connected March 23, 2023, was successful disobedience of a subsisting tribunal bid issued connected March 10, 2023.

“The installation and coronation of the 1st suspect carried retired successful flagrant disobedience of a valid and subsisting bid of this tribunal is null, void and hereby acceptable aside,” Justice Buba ruled.

The suit was filed connected March 10, 2023 by Mallam Ibrahim Isa against Methuselah Adamu arsenic 1st Defendant; the Executive Governor of Taraba State arsenic 2nd Defendant; the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice arsenic 3rd Defendant; and the Kwararafa Chiefdom Council arsenic 4th Defendant.
