‘This is not good’ – Bashir Ahmad confirms Gawuna has dumped APC

A erstwhile Kano State governorship candidate, Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna, has near the All Progressives Congress, APC.

This was confirmed by erstwhile statesmanlike media aide, Bashir Ahmad, via his X relationship connected Monday night.

Ahmad bemoaned Gawuna’s exit and claimed it wasn’t a bully development.

He wrote: “Unfortunately, we person mislaid the erstwhile Kano State gubernatorial campaigner successful the 2023 wide elections, Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna, arsenic helium has formally resigned his rank from the All Progressives Congress (APC). This isn’t good!”

This comes hours aft Gawuna resigned arsenic the Chairman of the Governing Board of the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria, FMBN.

In a resignation missive dated March 27, 2026, helium explained that his determination takes contiguous effect and follows the President’s directive for compliance with electoral laws up of upcoming governmental activities.
