Tinubu leaves for Abuja from Lagos
President Bola Tinubu has moved to Abuja, the capital of the country, from Lagos, where he had been for the Sallah holidays.
According to Channels Television, the President saluted the Nigerian Army parade as they mounted a guard of honor on Sunday before leaving the presidential wing of the Murtala Muhammed Airport. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the governor of Lagos State, was with him.
The President paid a courtesy visit to the paramount rulers of Ijebu, Egba, and Eko in Ogun and Lagos States while he was in Lagos following his journey to Paris and a secret visit to London.
On Saturday, he welcomed Umaro Sissoco Embalo, President of Guinea-Bissau and Chairman of the Authority of ECOWAS Heads of State and Government, at his home in Lagos.
