The country will experience significant infrastructure development, according to Mr. Babatunde Fashola, Minister of Works and Housing, if the All Progressives Party (APC) candidate for president, Dr. Bola Tinubu, is elected.

Fashola, who also serves as the director of the APC Presidential Campaign Council’s (PCC) Election Strategy and Monitoring Directorate, provided the guarantee on Tuesday in Abuja.

For Tinubu, Fashola spoke at a strategic pre-election meeting with certain Yoruba residents of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

The minister claimed that the APC-led government’s eight-year infrastructure development report card is self-evident and that the party has kept the promises it made to Nigerians in 2015 and 2019.

Fashola remarked that, in contrast to the 16 years of the Peoples Democratic Party, the President Muhammadu Buhari/APC-led administration changed the complexion of the whole FCT and the country despite a global economic slump (PDP).

According to Sen. Bola Tinubu, our presidential candidate, the country would experience a more robust and coordinated infrastructural development.

Throughout the past eight years, he said, “our scorecard is self-evident of a promise made, promise kept, and this is a virtue that set Tinubu ahead of the pack.”

On February 25, Fashola asked the FCT’s Yoruba community leaders and members to cast a large number of votes for the APC’s presidential candidate.

He asserts that Tinubu’s prior record as a two-term former governor of Lagos State continues to serve as a yardstick for gauging national good administration.

Additionally, he urged the populace to leave their respective wards in the six Area Councils of the FCT and convince voters, particularly the younger ones, to support Tinubu.

According to him, maintaining the APC-led administration’s admirable and people-focused projects and programs depends on this.

Ms Simi Fajemirokun, the program’s coordinator and a representative of FCT Yoruba Women, urged community people to cast their votes enthusiastically for Tinubu and Sen. Kashim Shettima, who is standing as his running mate.

“The vote of Yoruba people is crucial. It’s critical to demonstrate our strength as a community, as a people, and as a tribe because we have a Yoruba candidate in Tinubu.

“This is a tremendous opportunity, and we must strengthen our position. The Yoruba people are a community, and we are casting our ballots together as families.

We are not an individualistic tribe, but in accordance with our culture, we will cast our vote for our preferred candidate.

Being the second-largest tribe in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) behind the Hausas, she declared, “We are going to make sure we deliver the Tinubu-Shettima ticket on Saturday.”

The Director of NGOs APC PCC for FCT and APC Senate Candidate for the Federal Capital Territory, Mr. Adedayo Benjamin-Laniyi, emphasized the necessity for Nigerians to rise beyond sentiments in order to work for Tinubu’s electoral triumph.

He believes that Tinubu and Shetima stand for commitment and an exceptional willingness to strive for the shared objective of all Nigerians.

“The FCT’s current task is to present the Tinubu/Shetima candidacy. The Yoruba agenda in the FCT is Tinubu.

There is only one message now, according to him: “God must guide the Yoruba agenda.”
