Unity Schools: FGC Enugu emerges champion of old students 2026 national sports festival

The 2026 National Sports Fiesta of the Unity Schools Old Students Association, USOSA, has ended successful Enugu, with the Federal Government College, FGC, Enugu emerging champions.

It topped the array with 8 gold, 3 metallic and 2 bronze medals.

FGC Ikot Ekpene Old Students Association finished successful 2nd spot with 7 gold, 7 silver, and 3 bronze medals.

DAILY POST reports that the keenly contested sports fiesta that featured 30 Unity Schools from crossed the country.

The week-long sports festival, which was held astatine the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu, brought unneurotic alumni from national unity colleges nationwide.

Events featured astatine the fiesta included football, tug of war, march-past, swimming, tract tennis, array tennis, snooker, ludo, draughts, badminton, volleyball, basketball, golf, among others.

FGC Ikot Ekpene, 1 of the beardown contenders, battled alongside 29 different schools successful its bid to clasp the trophy but yet settled for 2nd spot arsenic FGC Enugu dominated the medals table.
