Peaceful protesters successful Enhwe Community, Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State, have said they are not successful enactment of the blockade of Urri Road and the alleged amerciable postulation of levy from a businessman, Victor Wayles Egukhawhore, purportedly by the lad of the accepted ruler of Enhwe Kingdom. 

The protesters, including Enhwe community’s elders, women and youth, led by the Secretary of the Elders’ Council, Michael Akpakpa, besides condemned successful totality the enactment by the monarch’s lad and the denial of the apprehension of the King. 

Their protestation placards read, “Prince Larry Eduvie Efekodha is not representing Enhwe,” “Enhwe does not beryllium to Efekodha family,” “Prince Larry Eduvie Efekodha you are excessively greedy,” “Efekodha Children should fto Enhwe breath,” “High Chief Victor Wayles Egukhawhore has done good for us,” and “High Chief Victor Wayles Egukhawhore is our beloved son”.

The forceful postulation of improvement fees (popularly called deve) is specifically prohibited nether the Delta State Public and Private Properties Protection Law, 2018. 

Under this law, it is simply a transgression for assemblage leaders, younker groups, oregon individuals to request oregon forcefully cod immoderate levy, fee, oregon rates (such arsenic 10% onshore income fees) from spot owners and developers.”
