2027 election: Anglican Church sends message to Nigerians, politicians, INEC, FG

Ahead of the 2023 wide election, the Church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion, has appealed to each Nigerians, governmental leaders, and parties to prioritise nationalist unity, peace, and corporate payment supra partisan considerations.

The religion issued this entreaty during its 15th General Synod convened successful Ogun State. 

It called upon governmental actors and citizens to condemn hatred speech, violence, intimidation, vote-buying, and misinformation.

The Church emphasised that Nigerians and governmental actors indispensable perpetrate to issue-focused campaigns and peaceful engagement, portion besides encouraging citizens to fulfil their civic duties responsibly and respect morganatic electoral procedures and results.
