2027: INEC announces plans to use AI for result verification

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has announced plans to usage Artificial Intelligence, AI during the 2027 wide election.

INEC Chairman, Professor Joash Amupitan, disclosed this connected Tuesday during the commission’s satellite property league and nationalist stakeholders’ forum connected preparations for the 2027 election.

According to the INEC chairman, Amupitan, the AI part was established nether the commission’s Information and Communication Technology, ICT, department.

“Artificial quality governance, the committee has established a dedicated artificial quality part with the ICT department. 

“Automated AI auditing tools are being integrated into our results verification process nether a five-pillar AI governance model operating nether the masonry quality governance oversight and AI model argumentation is being finalised by the commission,” helium said.
