2027: We've moved beyond administration to physical readiness assessment - INEC tells ECOWAS

Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Prof Joash Amupitan, has said the Commission has visited 4 of Nigeria's six geopolitical zones arsenic portion of its nationwide readiness appraisal up of the 2027 wide election.

INEC Chairman, Prof Joash Amupitan, disclosed this during a gathering with the ECOWAS Pre-Election Fact-Finding Mission to Nigeria, led by erstwhile Sierra Leone Vice-President, Victor Bockarie Foh.

Amupitan explained that the Commission had moved beyond administrative preparations to behaviour carnal assessments of its readiness crossed the country's geopolitical zones.

According to him, the zonal circuit began successful the South-West, with Lagos arsenic its archetypal destination, earlier moving to Kaduna successful the North-West and Enugu successful the South-East.
