81.24% of NABTEB candidates obtain five credits, including English, Maths

The National Business and Technical Examinations Board, NABTEB, has released the June/July 2026 National Business Certificate, NBC, and National Technical Certificate, NTC, results, with 79,504 candidates obtaining 5 credits and above, including English Language and Mathematics.

DAILY POST reports that the Registrar/Chief Executive Officer of NABTEB, Dr Mohammed Aminu Mohammed, announced the merchandise of the results astatine a property briefing on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, astatine the Board’s office successful Benin City, Edo State.

Mohammed said 79,504 candidates sat for the examinations.

He said the 2026 show was importantly higher than that of the May/June 2025 examinations, erstwhile 61,104 candidates, representing 68.18 per cent, obtained 5 credits and above, including English Language and Mathematics.

He added that 89,580 candidates, representing 91.53 per cent, obtained 5 credits and above, with oregon without English Language and Mathematics.
