Abia wins eight gold medals to finish top as South-East Weightlifting Championship ends

The maiden South-East Zonal  Weightlifting Championship has ended successful Umuahia, with the big State, Abia, winning 8 Gold, 1 Silver and 1 Bronze medals to apical the last medals table.

Imo State won 2 Gold, 3 Silver and 1 Bronze portion Anambra State won 3 Silver and 1 Bronze; Ebonyi won 2 Silver and 2 Bronze portion Enugu State occupied the bottommost of the array with 3 Bronze medals.

The title was utilized to observe caller weightlifting champions for Abia and Nigeria, including Divine Emmanuel who won Gold successful the 55kg class with a 155kg lift.
