The Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, Osun State University, UNIOSUN, chapter, has faulted the two-year hold of the tenure of the institution’s Vice-Chancellor, Professor Clement Adebooye, by Governor Ademola Adeleke.
The national said the Osun State University Establishment Law did not supply for an hold of the Vice-Chancellor’s tenure, raising questions implicit the ineligible ground for the governor’s decision.
The UNIOSUN ASUU Chairman, Dr Wande Olaosebikan, disclosed this successful an interrogation portion reacting to the development.
Olaosebikan said the national had examined the applicable provisions of the instrumentality and recovered that tenure hold was specifically provided for the Registrar, Bursar and Librarian, but not the Vice-Chancellor.
