Benue: Police arrest two women for allegedly staging fake kidnap to extort ransom

The Benue State Police Command has arrested 2 women for allegedly staging a fake kidnapping successful a bid to extort ransom from a family.

The bid said the suspects, identified arsenic Mary Torkuma of Akpehe, Makurdi, and Evergreen Samuel from Abia State, allegedly conspired to deceive Torkuma’s parent into believing her girl had been abducted.
