The Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, Moses Oshio Adasu University, MOAUN, formerly Benue State University, BSU has suspended its indefinite strike.
DAILY POST reports that the assemblage had connected June 1st, 2026, declared an indefinite onslaught implicit the non-payment of promotion arrears and different important issues.
However, the National Executive Council, NEC of the university’s ASUU successful a connection issued on Wednesday by its chairperson, Comrade Dr. Ali Sule Ako, said the concern enactment has been suspended.
According to the statement, the determination to suspend the onslaught followed a “successful signing of a Memorandum of Understanding, MoU arising from a tripartite statement involving the Union, the Benue State Government, and the University Administration”.
