BREAKING: Atiku asks court to disqualify Tinubu over NYSC certificate

African Democratic Congress, ADC, statesmanlike candidate, Atiku Abubakar, has asked the Federal High Court successful Abuja to disqualify President Bola Ahmed Tinubu from participating successful the 2027 statesmanlike election.

Atiku is seeking Tinubu’s disqualification implicit an alleged forged NYSC discharge certificate which the plaintiffs assertion was submitted to the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.

According to the plaintiffs, the NYSC certificate submitted to INEC bears the sanction “Tinubu Bola Adekunle,” which they said differs from the President’s name, “Bola Ahmed Tinubu.”

The plaintiffs are asking the tribunal to find whether the alleged discrepancy successful the certificate affects Tinubu’s qualification to contention the 2027 statesmanlike election.
