BREAKING : Federal High Court dismisses suit against APC Ekiti South 1 candidate, cites lack of locus standi

The Federal High Court sitting successful Ado-Ekiti has struck retired a high-profile suit challenging the candidacy of the All Progressives Congress, APC, campaigner for the Ekiti South 1 Federal Constituency up of the upcoming January 2027 elections. 

​In a judgement delivered connected Thursday, October 8, 2026, presiding justice Hon. Justice Babs O. Kuewumi dismissed the suit for deficiency of locus standi.
