The National Chairman of the Accord, Professor Christopher Imumolen, has announced the withdrawal of the party’s enactment for Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, up of Saturday’s governorship election.
Imumolen made the declaration connected Thursday astatine the All Progressives Congress, APC, Osun State governorship mega rally held successful Osogbo.
He said the party’s National Working Committee, NWC, had resolved to enactment the APC governorship candidate, Bola Oyebamiji, popularly known arsenic AMBO, successful the August 15 election.
“As Chairman of the Accord and with each our National Working Committee members present present, we retreat our enactment for Governor Ademola Adeleke and enactment AMBO,” Imumolen said.
He urged members and supporters of Accord crossed Osun State to ballot for Oyebamiji and the APC during Saturday’s poll.
“All our members are enjoined to ballot for AMBO and the APC successful Saturday’s election,” helium added.
