BREAKING: Senator Rufai Hanga resigns from NDC

Senator Rufai Hanga, the Deputy Minority Whip of the Senate, representing Kano Central Senatorial District, has resigned his rank from the Nigerian Democratic  Congress NDC.

Hanga announced his resignation successful a missive dated August 3, 2026, addressed to the Ward Chairman of the NDC successful his ward.

In the letter, the legislator said his determination followed cautious reflection and idiosyncratic deliberation, adding that helium had decided to retreat his rank of the enactment to prosecute different idiosyncratic interests.
