By noon, INEC will start collecting data for the presidential election.
The Independent National Electoral Commission’s (INEC) Chairman, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, has announced that on Sunday at noon, authorities will start compiling the results of the presidential and parliamentary elections in 2023.
At a news conference on the elections held on Saturday in Abuja, he made this announcement.
“I would like to extend an invitation to you for the official opening of the National Innovation Center for the 2023 general elections at noon on tomorrow (Sunday).
“We anticipate some election results, notably for the presidential election, coming from states by tomorrow.
The INEC chief announced that the presidential election collation center would open at noon tomorrow.
He continued by saying that unless there was an urgent development that needed to be addressed, Nigerians wouldn’t need to hear from him before Sunday.
