A Chinese humanoid robot has reportedly tally the 100 metres successful 9.32 seconds, beating Jamaican sprint fable Usain Bolt’s 9.58-second satellite record.
Al Jazeera English, citing China’s authorities broadcaster CCTV, reports that the robot, named Lightning, achieved the feat during a preparatory trial for the 2nd World Humanoid Robot Games successful Beijing.
“Lightning reached a highest velocity of 14.5 metres per second,” Al Jazeera English reported, citing CCTV.
