Court adjourns hearing in Sokoto ADC leadership case to July 22

The Federal High Court successful Sokoto has adjourned proceeding successful the enactment lawsuit involving the Sokoto State section of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, to July 22, 2026.

The tribunal besides awarded N500,000 successful costs against counsel to the 1st suspect and directed him to reimburse the plaintiff’s counsel for aerial proscription and different related question expenses upon presumption of valid receipts.

The ruling followed an exertion for adjournment filed by counsel to the 1st defendant, Dr. Sulaiman Usman, SAN, and moved by Barrister Salmanu Jabo.

Jabo told the tribunal that his main was unavoidably absent owed to engagements related to the substance and said respective defence processes had yet to beryllium served connected each parties, peculiarly the 4th and 5th defendants.
