Court affirms Thomas Ereyitomi as APC candidate for Warri House of Reps seat

Justice Mohammed Garba Umar of the Federal High Court successful Abuja has affirmed Chief Thomas Ereyitomi, arsenic the All Progressives Congress, APC, candidate for the House of Representatives for the Warri national constituency successful 2027 wide election. 

The Judge connected Thursday dismissed a suit brought against him by different aspirant for the Constituency, Dr Ekpoto Emmanuel, challenging his information and the submission of his sanction to the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC. 

Dr Ekpoto Emmanuel, had successful the suit prayed the Court to nullify the information and emergence of Thomas Ereyitomi arsenic the duly nominated campaigner of the APC for the Warri Federal Constituency. 

Emmanuel’s grouse against Thomas Ereyitomi’s information by APC was that helium was a subordinate of the APC and the Nigeria Democracy Congress (NDC) astatine the clip helium stood for the May 16 superior predetermination that produced him.
