Court dismisses ADC aspirant’s suit challenging party candidate

A Federal High Court successful Port Harcourt has dismissed a suit filed by the African Democratic Congress, ADC, aspirant for Khana State Constituency I successful the Rivers State House of Assembly, Legborsi Nwiabu, challenging the emergence of Bright Nulee arsenic the party’s campaigner for the constituency.

Presiding judge, Justice Muhammed Turaki, dismissed the suit aft counsel to the plaintiff, Felix Beragbara, informed the tribunal of his client’s determination to discontinue the lawsuit against the ADC, Nulee and the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.

When the substance came up connected Wednesday, Beragbara orally applied to retreat the suit connected behalf of his client, pursuing an involution by the ADC’s Peace and Reconciliation Committee successful Rivers State, headed by Emma Chindah.
