The Court of Appeal sitting successful Abuja has acceptable speech the judgement of the Federal High Court recognising expelled Shehu Gabam arsenic the National Chairman of the Social Democratic Party, SDP.

A three-member sheet of the appellate court, comprising Justices Fadawu Umaru, M.S. Hassan and L.A. Ganiyu, delivered a unanimous judgement connected Wednesday.

In his pb judgment, Justice Fadawu Umaru declared the judgement of Justice M.G. Umar successful Suit No. FHC/ABJ/CS/402/2026 null and void.

The improvement followed an entreaty filed by the SDP enactment nether Prof Abubakar Sadiq Gombe against the Federal High Court judgement recognising Gabam arsenic the party’s National Chairman.

The Court of Appeal held that the ground upon which the Federal High Court delivered its judgement was faulty, noting that the Supreme Court had already ruled connected the substance successful favour of Sadiq’s leadership.

Speaking aft the judgment, SDP statesmanlike campaigner and counsel to the appellants, Prince Adewole Adebayo, said the appellate tribunal unanimously ruled successful favour of the SDP successful each six applications considered during the proceedings.

He said the Court of Appeal besides declared the Federal High Court judgement recognising Gabam null and void due to the fact that it contradicted an earlier determination of the Supreme Court.
