Justice Mohammed Garba Umar of the Federal High court, Abuja, has revoked the bail granted to statesmanlike campaigner of the African Action Congress, Omoyele Sowore.
Sowore’s bail was revoked on Tuesday by Justice Umar, aft helium failed to look successful tribunal for his trial.
During Tuesday’s proceedings, counsel for the prosecution, Kehinde Akinlolu, SAN, told the tribunal that Sowore was absent from tribunal contempt being alert of the day’s hearing.
Akinlolu prayed the tribunal for the revocation of Sowore’s bail for his nonaccomplishment to look successful tribunal and his alleged continuous determination to hold his trial.
Justice Umar acknowledged that although Sowore had sent a missive seeking an adjournment by the court, helium did not authorities immoderate crushed for specified adjournment successful the letter.
