Police arrest 23-year-old suspect over murder of Benue varsity professor

The Benue State Police Command has taken a 23-year-old man, Abdullahi Usman from Awe successful Nasarawa State, into custody implicit the alleged execution of Professor Gabriel Saawua Nyityo and his younger brother, John Nyityo.

The Command’s Public Relations Officer, DSP Udeme Edet, said officers from the D Division acted connected a distress study on the Adaka area, wherever they recovered the lifeless bodies of the 2 brothers.

The victims were identified arsenic 58-year-old Professor Gabriel Saawua Nyityo and his 19-year-old younger brother, John Nyityo. Police said some men were allegedly attacked and killed by unidentified gunmen.
